Forest Gardens Sells 80 per cent of Latest Land Release in Two Days

Forest Gardens has hit record sales figures, with 80 per cent of their latest land release being placed under contract within two days.

Forest Gardens Project Director Andrea Jackson attributes the surge in sales to Forest Gardens’ wide choice in housing and its close proximity to the Cairns CBD.

“The latest land release features elevated allotments with sweeping views of the hinterland, located only eight kilometres from the Cairns CBD,” Ms Jackson said.

“Blocks range from 432 square metres to over 1,000 square metres”. Forest Gardens offers a wide choice with blocks from the low maintenance Premium Villa to the family-sized Traditional block, meeting the needs of all home buyers.

“We are now planning to bring forward another release of land as soon as possible to meet the demand we have encountered with this latest release,” Ms Jackson said.

Forest Gardens offers a thriving community environment dedicating over 42 hectares of land to green open space.

Forest Gardens actively participates in a revegetation program, planting over 750,000 trees and plants and neighbours a World Heritage Listed rainforest.

There are eleven village parks, a Bushland Reserve, 11 kilometres of hike and bike trails, plus community sporting facilities.

The community offers a retail and professional precinct including general retail facilities and childcare options in addition to a Community Room which encompasses facilities for a playgroup, yoga classes and a Neighbourhood Watch program.

Forest Gardens was named North Queensland’s Best Masterplanned Community in 2006 by the Urban Development Institute of Australia.

Due to for completion in 2010, Forest Gardens is being developed by Delfin Lend Lease in a joint venture with Orix Australia.
